Project purpose

Conceptual Streets Master Plan

Plusurbia will create a conceptual Streets Master Design Plan for the Village of El Portal to enhance mobility, accessibility, safety, and resilience. Our comprehensive plan will encompass all streets, taking a holistic approach to provide a unified vision for the future of mobility in the area. Our goal is to improve safety and resilience throughout the Village, ensuring a cohesive and sustainable environment.

Plusurbia will collaborate with Craig A. Smith & Associates engineers, the Village of El Portal, and residents to create a comprehensive concept urban design street design plan that effectively addressed the Village’s needs.

The Conceptual Streets Master Plan will include the following:

  • Streets inventory
  • Concept Master Plan for the Village’s Public Rights-of-Way
  • Existing and proposed design and street sections
  • Overall Concept Design options
  • Mobility strategies
  • Action plan
